Mueller Moderates Municipal Court Seminar

On November 2, 2007, Eastman & Smith Ltd. associate Denise A. Mueller served as moderator of a day-long seminar, "The Ins and Outs of the Municipal Courts," held at the Toledo Bar Association. The event featured presentations from presiding judges in the Oregon, Sylvania, Toledo, Maumee, Perrysburg and Bowling Green municipal courts. Over 50 attorneys and judges attended this event. Ms. Mueller engaged the judges in two lively panel discussions on topics including: OVI (formerly known as DUI), driver's license suspension, pending legislation regarding domestic violence, probation trends, mediation and landlord/tenant updates. Ms. Mueller is currently serving as chair of the Toledo Bar Association Municipal Courts Committee and is president-elect of the Toledo Women's Bar Association.

In addition to general litigation, Ms. Mueller's practice includes concentrations in OVI and traffic/criminal misdemeanor defense as well as landlord/tenant real estate litigation. She offers support and advice to all practice areas in matters relating to criminal and family/juvenile law as well.
